Finally, this blog got a rank of her own. She is at 4,084,179 as of April 9, 2008. Actually, she she bears #11 in last few days which was actually blogspot rank in Alexa but I really waited for this day that Lourdes’ Mia will be ranked by her own. Now she has…so I am up for another challenge here!!

The same as my challenge to myself in my other blog at Pinay Mommy’s DigiScrap and Musings on Life. I am also planning to get inside Alexa’s Top 1,000,000 in 30 days. So, as I am up to it here. I will do the same also.

People might say Alexa is not useful since it can be played but did you not know that many companies are still using a Alexa as a way of determining traffic?? Well, for me, I am not up for the traffic or what but I am just up for a self challenge. That’s all! Sometimes it gives you a boost to make blogging life even more entertaining. Don’t you agree??

To help augment our family income, we sometimes do a bed and breakfast business for some professionals especially acquaintances from old contact. Most prefer this kind of accommodation because the feeling of being home give them comfort.

When I was researching for more ways on making this business more profitable, I was really amazed that not only in our city does this business exist but also in most exciting city of Paris. Well, there are a lot of Paris hotels. But if a person wants a taste of a real French Life, it’s better to get yourself a Paris bed and breakfast experience. It makes it more personal just like home. But I believe there are also hotel Paris that are run by families, so I guess that would also be a homey experience too! Isn’t it that nice to wake-up and experience a French breakfast??

In this blog, the word “gratitude” has been listed as one of its labels. Why? Well, I guess this blog is really something that talks more about it. This blog (or the URL) was given to me by a friend and I guess its where all things have started. I felt very thankful for it. Not everyday in our life something extraordinary is given to you.

After being thankful (Pinay Mommy’s Love Blog), life has gone so good for me lately. Many things were given that sometimes you could not imagine go your way. As I worked on my other blog‘s make-over, I never thought that one of the creators of the digital elements I used would proudly link back to my blog as an example of her work being used to action.

Of course, there are couple of things that made me felt a little bit bitter along the way but still it made me felt grateful in the end. As they say, there is always a rainbow after the rain! My husband and I, after being separated for 2 years but now together again for almost 2 years (and plans to have more years to come together), always have misunderstandings and sensational fights (hahaha….showbiz!). We are still in the process of regaining after everything that happened to us. But hey, we still do have fights but recently, I realized that our marriage is actually progressing. He still have immaturity in some aspects but he has shown me that he trying to make things right. Which for me, I am already grateful of. The will to change and the word “try” are enough for me to hope for a beautiful and blissful marriage with that of course is the help from the Almighty!! Our marriage might have not been patched-up if it weren’t for God’s Divine Intervention. That made me grateful enough!!

Everyday as I wake-up and see my family together, its a great reminder for me to be grateful to God who has brought every pieces of my shattered life together. Being united as a family is enough for me to be grateful each day.

I am also grateful for Monday Morning Power for initiating the new project on gratefulness. Cause you see, sometimes we need great people to help us remind of the things we need to be grateful of before its too late.

I don’t play card games that much. I don’t know how. But I do play this children’s card game here in the Philippines called “Monkey Monkey.” Aside from that…nadah!

Just this early dawn around 2:00 am, I have finished my blog’s layout at Pinay Mommy Online. Well actually, I started customizing Pinay Mommy’s DigiScrap and Musings on Life and of course here, at Lourdes’ Mia, which came next. And then I got guilty for not personalizing my main blog, so, I made it as my biggest digital scrap project!

Now, finally I am mission accomplished! I was able to made the header, the sidebar headers, the background and my new EntreCard business card.

As for Lourdes’ Mia, I am planning to add a background here. Make it more beautiful, it deserves a royal treatment too. But as for now, I am taking a break and my PhotoShop CS2 too. For my blogging life, I am not planning to take a break. It’s my bread and butter now. I must work more on it. It’s my key to stay at home.
