Still No Domain!

I still have no domain and I wanna cry! Huhuhu… Well, the reason is I don’t have enough money to buy one yet. I used my paypal funds to settle one of my important monthly services subscriptions. So some priority needs to come first.

Anyway, I am hoping to buy one in the next few days and that is a promise. I am going to take care of my old blogs and maintain them as often as possible. I will love them as much as my main blog since all of them have different themes and special meanings.

Oh well, just wait and see! I will turn this blog to my own domain and hosting soon! Stay tune.

Plans for this Blog

I was really excited about the domain I purchased using EC credit. But the excitement faded when I didn’t get any reply from the seller. So, I have opted to cancel my purchase and stay with my blogspot sub domain for the meantime.

But as the day passed by, I was kind of depressed about my blog’s situation. I felt that this one needed a big time makeover, not only a domain but a real switch in terms of its blogging platform. Yup, you heard me right. I am talking about getting a webhosting for this blog!

To be honest, I am an avid blogger user for more than a year now but after reading about the web hosting articles at WebHostingRating.com a few months ago, I decided to switch to WordPress in most of my blogs. It somehow gave me a push to try using WP since I have read a lot of articles that helps you understand about control panels, domain names and cheap web hosting.

Oh well, I might be transferring to WP in the next few days. I am just waiting for some funding to buy myself a domain for this blog.

By the way, if you are still reluctant about self hosting your blogs. Don’t hesitate to WebHostingRating.com. They can help you in many ways when it comes to web hosting and such!

Dot Com Domain for 3000ECs Only!

The things that made me excited about the EC Market are the items that are being sold there. Believe not all are very appealing but if you look further enough and dig through all those listings, you will find something worthwhile. And one of those exciting finds is getting your own domain for 3000ECs. That is right; you can get a dot com domain for only 3000 entrecard credits!! But this offer is only good for existing blogs. If you are still starting out, the seller would not allow you to buy from him.

And guess what?! I availed myself! I bought a dot com domain from the seller just a few days ago and I am waiting for my purchase to be delivered. Since there are time differences, I believed that there would be some delay. So hopefully, in the next few days, this blog of mine will be publishing itself in the web using www.lourdesmia.com instead of lourdesmia.blogspot.com! I am so excited!

Anyway, if your interested in buying one yourself, here is the link to the seller’s listing: http://entrecard.com/market/listing/298/. Enjoy shopping!

What Do Your Initials Say About You?

I was hopping to one of my friend’s blogs and I found this one. When I read about the quiz, I got curious what would my initials mean. So, I took the liberty of taking it for the sake of fun.

Here is my result:

You Are Tender and Tolerant

When You Are Comfortable or in a Social Setting:

You are a sensitive, gentle soul. You want to save the world… or as much of it as possible.

People see you as unselfish and well mannered. You truly enjoy being around others, and it shows.

When You Are At Your Best:

You are a carefree, adventurous person. You love excitement, and you enjoy being in a changing, dynamic environment.

People find you to be funny, generous, and competent. You’re well spoken, and you know how to wow people with your words.

I am not sure if the result is 100% true but in my case I guess somehow it nailed me. LOL!!

Health Threatening Raptiva

People take medicines to be healed from sicknesses but sometimes unexpected things happen, people end up with another form of ailment because of the side effects of these medicines. Isn’t that so unfair? I mean vomiting, headache and drowsiness as side effects of a prescribed drug is quite acceptable but having a brain infection? Now, that is a different story!

Just like in the US, their Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently released a warning to the general public about a drug called Raptiva. This drug was approved to be used for psoriasis, “…a chronic immune-system disease which causes thick, red, scaly patches to appear on the surface of the skin,” in October 2003. But from the recent study, it showed the Raptiva is linked to cause the sickness called progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML). Aside from that, it also have shown indication that it can also cause meningitis, immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, and other life-threatening infections. The worst part is, two people have been reported to have died because of PML, a Raptiva side effects. To learn more about this dangerous drug, please visit http://www.youhaverights.com/dangerous-drugs/raptiva today.

So, imagine people expecting to be healed from their diseases ends up dying because of developing more severe sicknesses due to taking dangerous drugs. Isn’t that so saddening? Good thing in the US, people who have taken dangerous drugs like Raptiva PML can do legal actions about this. They can fight for their right!
