Rapid Detox
Many people who decided to stop taking drugs ended up taking them again not because of they wanted it emotionally but because they are having problems in adjusting to withdrawal symptoms. The physical pain is hard for them especially if there is no one to help and comfort them.
Now, a new procedure is being practiced. It is called rapid detox. This is a procedure done by a doctor that will help detoxify your body by using a medical procedure. Instead of manually withdrawing yourself from drugs, they will compress this by one to eight hours depending on the clinic where you will have your rapid detox treatment. This procedure will lessen or erase withdrawal symptoms to drugs.
They say after a successful rapid detox, a person will be able to stop physical addiction and withdrawal symptoms but will not cure the psychological aspect. That means this person must still go under professional help on psychological addition rehab.
So, if you know someone who is addicted to opiate drugs, would you let them undergo rapid detox?
Church Wedding
Last January 2010 was our 10th Wedding Anniversary. Before it came to pass, we decided to have a church wedding for the first time but unfortunately we don’t have the budget yet. We all know that we need money from the wedding decorations, invitations, rings, giveaways, entourage and more. So my husband and I decided to celebrate it simply and have our church wedding or renewing of vows on our 15th wedding anniversary if ever we get there. LOL!
Anyway, I am still dreaming of having a church wedding. This is my dream come true as a woman.
Wanted to Buy a Digital Camera
Since my Kodak point-and-shoot digital camera got its LCD broken, I started planning to get another one. Though I heart buying a Nikon D5000, my friend suggested that I should buy a Canon camera. She said that a quality point-and-shoot camera might be too pricey for me but she said I would not regret it.
So I went to the Canon showroom and saw a camera that is almost 6000 pesos last December 2009. So when I had my money, I went back so that I could buy it. Unfortunately, they have no stocks anymore because that was their clearance sale last holiday season. Another one was available and it costs 8000 pesos plus but my money was only 6000. Instead of buying the camera, I bought an LCD GW900 mobile phone. The camera of the phone is not of high quality but I guess I should deal with it for now since I couldnג€™t afford the camera of my dreams or any quality point-and-shoot camera.
Weight Loss Goals
It was my goal to register at the gym last February but when the time came I was not able to do so because of an infection that affected my toe until now. So I decided to find an alternative either to buy a diet pill, slimming wraps or fitness equipment that is affordable.
But still, since the money is not yet available, I am hoping my infection will get better soon so that I can go to the gym instead buying the alternative thing I mentioned above. Getting this infection fixed is better than buying.
Missing a Sunshine
One of our land ladyג€™s borders, our neighbor, asks my mom if we had custom cardboard boxes that they can have. She said that they will be leaving and permanently live back at their hometown because his husband is now assigned in a different place.
Anyway, I will not miss her actually but I will surely miss his toddler son, Loise. He was cute and very sweet. Though we werenג€™t that really close, the toddler was a true sunshine every time I get to see him. Oh well, I am not sure I am going to see him again. I just hope he continues to be a sunshine wherever he is!
