RV Feasibility

Every time I see RVs for sale online, I always remember my son’s suggestions about us moving always. He said; why not buy a car that is a house so that we don’t have problems moving stuffs. He said he is tired from moving from one place to another. So to make things easier, why not live in a moving home.

Anyway, I am really fond of his idea. Sometimes I would imagine, why not right? Since we don’t have our own home, why not get an RV and live there. It would be easier to move from one place to another but the only problem with RVs here in the Philippines is that there are no RV parks. You don’t have a place to park your RV and live for awhile. This is also the reason why I explained to my son that RVs are not feasible here at our place.

Evolution of Television Viewing

When I started watching TV, the television sets were mostly black and white. My first TV viewing was with my late grandparents. I used to go at their house just to watch TV shows. Then, when my father came home from Saudi Arabia, he brought with him a Sony black and white TV with 12 channels using a dial.

Then few years later, I don’t know the exact date, but we were able to own a 14 inches colored TV with remote control. Then a VHS player which in turned to VCD player then later a DVD player and with matching cable account along the way.

When I got my job here in Bacolod, I bought a conventional 20 inches colored TV with remote from my first Christmas bonus then a few months later, a DVD player. Then just recently, my husband and I bought an LCD TV through installment.

TV viewing has evolved in so many years. That is why I am always excited what is next in TV watching. And speaking about TV watching, have you heard about the Slingbox? They say if you own one, you can watch TV anywhere in the world. Well, I haven’t seen one personally but I have read about it in the internet and I think it is a cool gadget to own.

Pet Responsibility

My son wanted to have big fishes as a pet. Since getting fishes for a pet requires an aquarium, pond plants, fish tank accessories and many more, I have to decline to his request. Besides, taking care of an aquarium requires a lot of responsibility and hard work that I know my 6 years old son couldn’t do.

Buying our children pets are great but it always depends on how the child handles responsibility. We know pets are living creatures and it takes maintenance to keep them as pets. So, if your child is not yet capable of handling pets, it is better to refuse a request than suffering from another additional work load for you.

Pets are not toys that can be forgotten when not needed. So, better have a pet if the child can take care of it already.

FTF # 11 – Greenwich Lasagna Meal with Pizza & Pizza Fries

I had my OB check-up yesterday. So when the doctor’s secretary took my weight, I asked her how much I gained. She said in my check-up last March 12, 2010, I weighed around 129lbs. Then after two months plus, I am now 135lbs. Therefore, I gained 6lbs in two months. That is 3lbs per month, as in one kilo plus per month!!

Then, I was looking for something or someone to blame. So, I blamed this delicious meal from Greenwich Pizza. I hate you! Grin
