I have heard that Accutane is the best acne treatment there is. It is supposed to be the last resort of those who have been frustrated by many kinds of treatments but the symptoms persist. Unfortunately, treatment is very risky especially for women. So women of child bearing age have to sign a waiver and have to undergo the treatment only under a government regulated program. It is such a big thing because of the serious birth defects that it can cause if taken by a pregnant woman. It is really serious and for me I don’t think I would ever try it, even if I have lots of acne. But well, I cannot really judge those who have taken them. I guess it is really exasperating to have persistent acne.
