Black Friday With My Family
Every Holy Week, especially Black Friday, my family and I always see to it that we visit the church and pay respect to our Almighty Father. Here, we remember how God suffered and sacrificed his life just to save us from our sins.
During this Lenten Season, I also educate my children about this religious event and explain to them why we should be thankful that God saved us from our “inborn” sins. Sometimes, David, my son, would ask if God is really dead every Black Friday, but I never get tired of telling him that He’s actually alive and Black Friday is just a commemoration of how He saved the world and mankind, then David would just stare at me. I know someday he’ll fully understand what I am trying to tell him.
