Diversion Needed

Just this afternoon, my husband and I underwent a sort of marital counseling. Our church pastor was honest enough and bold to tell him that what he has done was wrong and he was becoming a bad example to his children. He was silent for the moment then later admitted that he was wrong and he will try his best to improve as a father and a husband. Then a little later, he was again jokingly telling me that I needed to buy him fitness equipment so that he can have a diversion from his drinking problem.

Now, I am thinking that maybe I should buy the weights my husband wanted. Maybe he indeed needs some diversion…and if the weights can help him with it, then I think I should buy it for him. Don’t you think?
