Evolution of Television Viewing
When I started watching TV, the television sets were mostly black and white. My first TV viewing was with my late grandparents. I used to go at their house just to watch TV shows. Then, when my father came home from Saudi Arabia, he brought with him a Sony black and white TV with 12 channels using a dial.
Then few years later, I don’t know the exact date, but we were able to own a 14 inches colored TV with remote control. Then a VHS player which in turned to VCD player then later a DVD player and with matching cable account along the way.
When I got my job here in Bacolod, I bought a conventional 20 inches colored TV with remote from my first Christmas bonus then a few months later, a DVD player. Then just recently, my husband and I bought an LCD TV through installment.
TV viewing has evolved in so many years. That is why I am always excited what is next in TV watching. And speaking about TV watching, have you heard about the Slingbox? They say if you own one, you can watch TV anywhere in the world. Well, I haven’t seen one personally but I have read about it in the internet and I think it is a cool gadget to own.
