Green Monday 2 – Earth Hour 2011
Last March 29, 2009, my family and I started observing Earth Hour. That was the first discussion my children and I had about saving Mother Earth. When March 27, 2010 came, my family went to SM City Bacolod to participate on their Earth Hour program. There my children learned more about other ways of saving Mother Earth and the reiteration why we are observing Earth Hour.
Here are some pictures taken at that time:
Now, Earth Hour 2011 is slated on March 26, 2011 at 8:30PM. As usual, I don’t want my family to miss this event. We will be participating and hopes to contribute in battling climate change and saving our planet in our own little ways.
This year’s Earth Hour has a poster that marks 60+. The plus sign symbolizes that Earth Hour or saving Mother Earth should be beyond 60 minutes. It should be done in a constant pursuit to help save our planet by conserving resources, practice recycling and start living GREEN.
So, I am invitating all of you to join us and the rest of the world to participate in this year’s Earth Hour this coming March 26, 2011 at 8:30PM. Turning off your lights for an hour is so easy!!

I believe we can all help save Mother Earth…for our children and children’s children… visiting you here mommy rubz!

That’s 10 days away. Most likely, the house will be dark since we’ll still be out on the road traveling back home from Church. Malamang nasa bus by that time.
GM #33 pala ako.
So good to see others who practice ‘green’ AND teach it to their kids. I feel it is extremely important for each and every one of us to contribute in every way we can.
Thanks!
