Ok, so you want to get a tan. Most people think of having to go on a beach holiday to get one. It is actually an effort especially that you have to spend lots of money for a trip. On top of that, you have to just lie in the beach for hours just to get the tan you want. Not to mention that you could get sun burnt in the process. I saw my high school classmate on Facebook. I saw her wearing hospital scrubs in one of her photos. So I asked her if she is a doctor or a nurse. She replied that she is a nurse. That didn’t came as a surprise to me because most of my classmates, male and female alike are nurses or taking a second course to become a nurse.

Here in the Philippines, most graduates from the past years are mostly taking up nursing. All wants to be a nurse because this is one of the quickest ways to go abroad. Filipino nurses are hired everywhere and mostly in demand in Europe and in the US.

But of course, aside from nurses, the second most in demand in Europe and in the US, are SpEd teachers; special education teachers especially in urban areas.

As for me, I am likely to study education as my second course rather than nursing. I won’t probably last a day injecting humans especially babies!

Whenever I learned of celebrities getting married, the reporter would not fail in telling its readers how much the engagement ring costs. They always focused on that brilliant ring that symbolizes a promise of marriage. Some of these engagement rings definitely have astonishing prices from thousands of dollars while some with incredible karats that are tagged around millions of dollars.

As a woman, I always wanted to own one, not a diamond engagement ring but just a simple diamond ring or necklace. I am not after those expensive ones but I want a ring like those of everlon. They are uniquely designed that looks simple but elegant. Well, as of now, my husband can’t afford it but just in case he reads my blog, I hope he gets an idea for the future. *wink!*

My daughter Bella Grace is celebrating her birthday this month. Since we are financially short this month, I am not planning to have a birthday party but only to give her a gift. So, I am eyeing of giving her a September baby birthstone jewelry. Since she is a girl, I am sure she would want some girly thing and besides, jewelry lasts longer than toys. Don’t you think?
