Rapid Detox
Many people who decided to stop taking drugs ended up taking them again not because of they wanted it emotionally but because they are having problems in adjusting to withdrawal symptoms. The physical pain is hard for them especially if there is no one to help and comfort them.
Now, a new procedure is being practiced. It is called rapid detox. This is a procedure done by a doctor that will help detoxify your body by using a medical procedure. Instead of manually withdrawing yourself from drugs, they will compress this by one to eight hours depending on the clinic where you will have your rapid detox treatment. This procedure will lessen or erase withdrawal symptoms to drugs.
They say after a successful rapid detox, a person will be able to stop physical addiction and withdrawal symptoms but will not cure the psychological aspect. That means this person must still go under professional help on psychological addition rehab.
So, if you know someone who is addicted to opiate drugs, would you let them undergo rapid detox?
