I have been thinking a lot about how to beautify our home some more this year. Since we moved here from another city, we have made improvements on the house already, but so much more have to be done.

If I were to choose, I would rather that our family would have a house of our own. Of course houses are not cheap these days so I need to do some major saving up. It would also be great if our house would have a basement. Basement tiles are an added cost, but they sure are worth it. Having a quiet time with myself or hubby at a beautifully furnished basement would be great!

The journey of this blog is long and crazy. It started out a free blog on blogger.com then and I decided to post free blog reviews. Then when this blog had its own domain, I decided to make it into a “general blog” then later moved to wordpress. Then after awhile, I decided to make it into a food blog. Posted a lot of videos on how some foods are prepared. And then, because this was using a green theme, I decided to make it into a “green-living blog.” And since I bought a domain specifically for eco-friendly blogging, I decided to make this blog go back to general blogging.

So far, I think I will be making this blog a general one permanently. At least, if I want to talk about curt trailer hitches, I can do so anytime. I won’t be having problems talking about it or with any other topic I am really interested in. No holds barred!

Ok, so you want to get a tan. Most people think of having to go on a beach holiday to get one. It is actually an effort especially that you have to spend lots of money for a trip. On top of that, you have to just lie in the beach for hours just to get the tan you want. Not to mention that you could get sun burnt in the process. Better yet, you could go to tanning salons which could be quite costly. So those who are in desperate need of the tan are asking if there is any other way they could get what they want. Good news! Tan towels could be just what you need! Great results, a lot cheaper, and very convenient!

When my sister and I were still kids, we dreamt of having teaching degrees. I think most kids of my generation longed to be a teacher one way or another. It’s either that or become a doctor. I wanted to be a teacher because I have always had a passion for learning and teaching and well, medicine would require me to spend many years in school and I didn’t want that.

Kids these days have more options when choosing college degrees. There are a lot of courses which are related to computers and information technology. In fact those are probably the most in demand courses nowadays because they pave the way for a fresh graduate to easily land a job right after graduation.

Indeed, most companies prefer applicants who took computer-related courses. Of course it goes without saying that teachers are also in demand. After all, these students wouldn’t learn a thing without a capable teacher, right?

I have taken this picture a few years ago. I was excited to see corn plants within the city. They were planted on a vacant lot. Aside from that, I was ecstatic to see green in a highly urbanized place.
