This blog is named after my mother, Lourdes, and Mia is not my name. Mia is a girl’s name which is a Latin and Scandinavian short form of Maria. Which of course my mother fondly calls me when she is angry. Hehehe! Maria! Maria!

So, to make it more “social,” I decided to use the shorter version – Mia.

And yes! I am my mother’s daughter. I am proud of it as I am proud of her!!

Well, this blog is not actually a personal diary blog. It’s a blog of all things. Definitely this will journalize all my ramblings and musings about my everyday life and my opinions on others. Hehehe….
